About KAAPA

The Korean American Accounting Professors Association (KAAPA) is a non-profit organization that provides a platform for communication and networking among Korean accounting professors and doctoral students in across the world.


Founded in 1988, KAAPA seeks to promote collaboration and participation in high-quality academic research among its members and to connect with other academic and professional organizations with similar scholarly interests.


To fulfill its mission, KAAPA organizes the following activities: 

· Academic seminars

· Annual PhD conferences for job market candidates

· Panel sessions on the academic job market

· Scholarship support
